Read this is John Robbin's May All Be Fed...touched me deeply.
"If you take the time to make yourself a breakfast that fits your mood and needs, and the kind of day you have ahead of you, you set in motion a wave of self-care and responsibility that remains with you throughout the day."
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in making the change to eat whole, healthy and energy-rich foods, and the why's behind why this change is essential for the continuation of our life on this Earth.
Let me know what you think..
Eish...some of us will find this rather challenging to do. Firstly, getting into a routine that will allow the time to make a breakfast that idolizes your day...but I guess you can make the time BUT, getting the skills to make that breakfast is another story. mmmm...cereal every morning??
ReplyDeleteOn a serious note though, while having a good breakfast is ideal, the power lies in the process of making that breakfast. You get physically and mentally prepared for whatever may lie ahead in the day. Most often we wake up and hit the station... and that sets us up for mediocre days.
That's my thought...
On Thato's thought... this is why you needed to start that food revolution you started last week!
